The programme

Every piece Forme sells is covered by our care & repair service for as long as you own it. A loose joint, a worn cushion, a scratch that has gone too deep to live with — send us a photograph and we will tell you what can be done.

Frames and joinery carry a five-year guarantee against manufacturing defects. After that, we still repair; you pay materials and labour at cost.

Looking after what you have

• Leather — wipe with a lightly dampened cloth. Condition once or twice a year with a natural wax. Avoid solvents entirely.
• Timber — a dry cloth, along the grain. Re-oil hard-wax finishes every three to five years.
• Wool and linen — vacuum on a low setting. Rotate cushions so they wear evenly. Professional cleaning for anything serious.
• Stone — honed surfaces mark, and the marks become patina. Seal only if you would rather they did not.

Booking a repair

Write to hello@forme.studio with your order reference and a photograph. Most repairs are done in the workshop that made the piece.
